  • Coronal Caries

    Diabetic individuals have 49% higher risk of developing coronal caries compared to non-diabetic participants

  • Root Caries

    Root caries was 46% higher among diabetic individuals compared to non-diabetic ones

  • Missing Teeth

    Adults with diabetes were 32% more likely to have a missing tooth

  • Complete Tooth Loss

    Complete tooth loss was more prevalent in individuals with diabetes mellitusre.

  • Routine Dental Care

    Visiting a dentist for routine care did not differ between diabetic Vs. non-diabetic adults
